Captain Thomas Moore
Tom Moore is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is a graduate of the 99th Basic Session of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and has worked for both the Aurora and Greendale Police Departments located in Dearborn County.
Tom served as an ILEA staff instructor from 2003 until 2021. Tom left ILEA at the end of 2021 to assume a leadership position with the Community Health Network Police Department. He returned to ILEA in October of 2023 as the Basic Course Training Captain.
Captain Moore is an instructor in numerous subjects including Physical Tactics, EVO, STOPS, Less Lethal Technologies, Verbal De-escalation and is a CrossFit Level 1 trainer.
