Our resources help individuals access protective services, Medicaid benefits and all-inclusive care designed to meet their unique needs and promote well-being at every stage of aging.
Age Forward Together
By 2035, the number of adults aged 65 and older across the United States will increase by 26%. In Indiana, the impact will be even more significant, with a projected 41% rise in Hoosiers aged 70 and over. These changes call for coordinated action to ensure that older adults can age with security and opportunity.
Age Forward Together, Indiana’s Multisector Plan for Aging (MPA), unites public and private partners to reshape the future of aging in Indiana. The plan focuses on advancing areas like healthcare, nutrition, mobility and community support, supporting a stronger, more age-inclusive Indiana.

Medicaid HCBS
Indiana Medicaid offers Home- and Community-Based Services (HCBS) for individuals who prefer to receive care and support at home rather than in a facility. HCBS programs are designed to promote independence while helping individuals live safely and comfortably in their communities.
