The Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) has launched a new grant application and management system platform, IntelliGrants. The adoption of this platform by IDHS and other state agencies will enhance and standardize grant management across the state. This new program is user-friendly and allows IDHS to make changes and updates to the system without requiring an outside vendor. With the launch of IntelliGrants approaching, IDHS needs to begin the process of adding users to the system. This requires each entity to identify a single system administrator within the organization before requesting a grant from IDHS.
What do I need to do?
Applying entities are required to complete the IntelliGrants System Administrator Form, which will facilitate the system administrator identification process. The form can be found below.
System administrator usernames and passwords will be created utilizing the information provided through this form. Organizations interested in applying for funding through IDHS will not be able to access IntelliGrants without completing and submitting the IntelliGrants System Administrator Form.
What happens if I don’t do this?
Organizations must have a system administrator identified in the IntelliGrants system to apply for any new grants through IDHS.
Is there a time frame?
Schools and school corporations that intend to apply for the Secured School Safety Grant must submit the System Administrator Form. Organizations that intend to apply for the Emergency Management Preparedness Grant or the Hazardous Materials Preparedness Grant and do not currently have System Administrators on file are encouraged to fill out the system administrator as soon as possible.
Please be aware that IDHS will be validating System Administrators on a rolling basis. It is recommended that the IntelliGrants System Administrator Form be completed and submitted as soon as possible. As IDHS prepares for the upcoming grant cycles, System Administrators may experience delays in receiving usernames and passwords.
- How will I get my user name and password?
- What happens if the information submitted is not accurate?
- Why does my organization need a system administrator?
- Who decides who serves as system administrator for my organization?
- Who should be the system administrator for my organization?
- Will entities have to work in IntelliGrants and iGMS?
- I will be the system admin for two entities (i.e. EMA and LEPC). Do I need a separate account for each?
- I am having technical issues:
- I’m from a school, and my school’s name is not on the list. What should I do?
This form works best in Chrome and Firefox
