Pursuant to IC 5-22-22-5, the City of Alexandria is now accepting bids for the following surplus items:
1998 C-3500 Chevrolet Dump Truck—350 gas engine, automatic transmission, 10’ allied dump bed with electric cover, hydraulic hoist, Vin #1GBJC34R4WF038427.
1968 C-50 Chevrolet Chassis—350 gas engine, 4-speed manual transmission, 2-speed rear axle, O'Brien Sewer Jetter mounted on chassis UB220 International gas engine.
1977 Galion 503 Series A Grader—UB 220 gas engine, Serial # 11679-392, Model # D99216.
Sealed bids are due to the Alexandria Clerk-Treasurer at 125 N. Wayne St., Alexandria, IN 46001 by 5:00 p.m. on October 6, 2025.
Bids will be opened on the same day at 5:30 p.m. at the Board of Works meeting and awarded to the highest responsible bidder. Winning bidders are responsible for picking up all items. Payment is to be made by cash or certified funds at the time of the winning bid.
Items to be picked up by appointment only. The City will not transport or deliver items. All items are sold as is. The City does not offer any warranties, either express or implied.
