The intent of all history items provided on the ISC Website is to briefly, and as reasonably accurately as possible, cover limited, unique items (places, people, events) pertinent to the history of the ‘Area of Indiana’ from the Native American period to the Early Period of Indiana Statehood (about 1816-1840).
As with any volunteer effort, a faithful attempt to list references for information provided and to give credit for pictures used, has been made. For any subsequently noted errors, misinformation, lack of attributions etc. our apologies.
