The Wastewater Department’s normal hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday.
The wastewater department constructs and installs new water lines from individual services and main water lines to and including subdivisions, and monitors manholes. They conduct daily wastewater tests to ensure proper operation of the wastewater treatment plant and distribution. They are responsible for submitting required reports to IDEM (Indiana Department of Environmental Management) and other regulating entities. The wastewater department also sprays for mosquitoes.
