Winamac Town Hall Closure Notice
Please be advised that the Winamac Town Hall will be closed to the public on February 5, 2026 and February 6, 2026. This temporary closure is necessary as we update our accounting and billing programs to better serve our community. During this time, utility bills can still be paid online or deposited into the drop box. Payments made during this time will be received, but not updated online until the office reopens on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 7:30 a.m. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Welcome to the Town of Winamac
The Town of Winamac is located in Monroe Township, Pulaski County, Indiana. Winamac was selected as the county seat in 1839 and was incorporated in 1868. The town’s name came from the Potawatomi word for “catfish.”
The Town Manager’s office is located in the Winamac Town Hall, Clerk-Treasurer’s Office. The Town Manager acts as the administrative head of the town government and is under the direction of the Town Council. This office manages the day-to-day operations of the Town. The Town Manager is appointed each year by the Town Council.
