Nursing Division

Public health nursing is the practice of promoting and protecting the health of populations using knowledge from nursing, social, and public health sciences. Public health education is teaching people about behaviors that promote wellness. The nursing division may focus on a number of public health issues, including: disease prevention, environmental health, nutrition, safety and disaster preparedness, and substance abuse prevention.
