Dr. Lori Skidmore, MD

County Health Officer

  • Dr. Lori Skidmore was appointed Blackford County Health Officer in 2012.
  • She graduated from DePauw University in 1984 and the IU School of Medicine in 1988.
  • In 1991 she completed her Family Practice Residency in Fort Wayne, IN, then she began private practice in Montpelier, IN.
  • She has been a member of the IU Health Blackford Hospital medical staff since 1991.
  • She served on the Blackford County School Board for eight years.
