🌟Now Enrolling: 2026 SEE Camp (Skills for Education & Empowerment)! 🌟
We are excited to announce the return of SEE Camp 2026, a week-long summer program for students who are blind or visually impaired currently in grades 5–12. Hosted at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, SEE Camp is designed to build essential academic and Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) skills that support success in school, work, and daily life.
Students will engage in hands-on instruction in Reading/Writing, Math, Assistive Technology, and Independent Living Skills, led by experienced educators in a structured and supportive environment. Each day focuses on key skill development, helping students strengthen independence, communication, and problem-solving while building confidence alongside peers. All student participants will have the option and are encouraged to reside at the ISBVI Dorm during the camp.

📍 Location: Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Summer STEP Student Application
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, March 20, 2026
STEP (Student Training and Employment Program) is a two-week summer paid internship for high school students (ages 16–22) who are blind or
have low vision and want hands-on experience in real workplaces.
Program Dates: Mandatory Check-in: Sunday, June 14, 2026
Work Weeks: Monday, June 15 – Friday, June 26, 2026

supported and set up for success.
* Prior job experience is not required—a willingness to learn and try new things is what matters. STEP is about growth, effort, and building confidence—not perfection.
