Law Enforcement

The law enforcement division of the Indiana Gaming Commission.

The Law Enforcement Division consists of more than 185 Enforcement Agents, Gaming Control Officers, and Investigators assigned to casinos and regions across the state. Enforcement Agents, Investigators, and Gaming Control Officers are certified police officers, certified by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy under Indiana Code 4-33-4.5-1, which outlines their police powers and duties.

The Enforcement Division consists of over 150 sworn law enforcement personnel. It maintains offices statewide, at every casino, and operates 24 hours a day, 7days a week. The primary responsibility of the Enforcement Division is to ensure regulatory compliance by enforcing the Indiana Administrative Code and state laws.  The Enforcement Division conducts regulatory investigations as well criminal investigations for offenses that occur at the casinos and related to online sports wagering.

The Gaming Control Division consists of approximately 15 sworn law enforcement officers that investigate illegal gambling throughout the State. This is achieved by educational outreach and is supported by enforcement efforts when necessary.

Individuals may also call 1‑866‑610‑TIPS (8477) or fill out our Contact Us form to provide information that may help reduce illegal gambling or gaming-related crimes in Indiana. Welcome to the Enforcement Division of the Indiana Gaming Commission. As the Superintendent of Law Enforcement I am very proud of the accomplishments that have been achieved and I am looking forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.

The Enforcement Division has worked diligently to achieve the goals set forth in Senate Enrolled Act 626. The Division consists of Gaming Enforcement Agents and Criminal Investigators equipped with training and expertise to investigate gaming crimes and regulatory issues, as well as criminal investigation that include money laundering and other financial crimes.

I am confident that gaming in the State of Indiana, now and in the future, will be conducted in strict compliance with the laws and regulations set forth in Indiana Code.
