Hoosier Women Speak
Message from the Executive Director
This is an exciting time for women in Indiana. In just a few years, the country will be celebrating 100 years of women’s right to vote. It is time to appreciate how far women have come, understand where women are today and what still needs to be done, and envision what women’s full participation would look like on that centennial milestone.
This is also an exciting time for the Indiana Commission for Women. ICW has been serving the women of Indiana for over 20 years. Since the beginning, ICW has been committed to the full participation of women in all aspects of society in order to make Indiana a better place to live, work and raise a family. Today, we are working to move Indiana women forward by serving as their voice in the public sector.
We continue to raise awareness of women’s needs and concerns and celebrate their contributions and successes. We encourage women to become better connected to the opportunities and resources in their communities and in the State of Indiana and more engaged in finding solutions to the challenges that they face.
Join us and together, we can keep moving Indiana women forward.
