The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) is requesting feedback from families, educators and community partners across the state on a draft plan to support students’ literacy development, the Indiana Literacy Plan for Academic Recovery. The mission of the Indiana Literacy Plan for Academic Recovery is to create a collaborative and sustainable model of preparing, educating, and supporting Indiana educators on the Science of Reading and the importance of early learning. Public comment for stakeholders to contribute opinions and recommendations on the Indiana Literacy Plan for Academic Recovery is available through November 12, 2021.
