***NOTICE TO ALL TAX PAYERS ***
Property tax statements were mailed on April 7th, 2025. The due date for the spring installment was May 12th, 2025, as the 10th fell on a Saturday. The fall installment is due on November 10th, 2025.
Payments can be made via cash, check, or credit card; however, please note that a service charge will apply for credit card transactions. Online payments can also be made at govtechtaxpro.com , or you may call 855-327-7805 (You will need your 18-digit parcel number for making phone payments). NO personal property payments.
If you choose to make a payment in the office and do not have your statement, there will be a charge of $1.00 (CASH ONLY) for each statement that needs to be printed. We kindly ask that you bring your statement with you for reference.
It is important to read your tax statement thoroughly, as it should address any questions you may have. The Treasurer's Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; however, during tax season, the office will close at 3:30 PM to facilitate daily balancing and preparation of bank deposits. Tax payments are also accepted at First Financial Bank and Fountain Trust Bank.
If you encounter any issues with the information printed on your statement, please do not wait until the end of the day or the due date to address it, as we experience a high volume of payments during that time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Please note: Failure to receive a tax statement by mail does not relieve taxpayers of their responsibility for payment or penalties when delinquent. It is the taxpayer's responsibility to know how many parcels they have and to verify that the taxes on each one of them are paid. Having the staff at the Treasurer's Office perform parcel searches, is not a guaranteed method of finding properties. Taxpayers should always research their own information.
Payments can be made by U.S. mail or by using the after-hours drop box located on the west side of the courthouse if the office is closed. Payments can also be made at First Financial Bank Rockville, The Fountain Trust Company Rockville, or in person at the Treasurer’s Office.
