Recorder

The County Recorder is a constitutional officer of the county elected for a four year term. The Recorder may only serve eight years in a 12 year period.

The Parke County Recorder is responsible for the following functions:

  • Preserving public records, including deeds, mortgages, liens, leases, bankruptcy notices, articles of incorporation, etc.
