The 2025 Annual Financial Report for Clay County is now available to the public online or by picking up a printed copy at the Clay County Auditor’s Office located in the Clay County Courthouse. Persons interested in viewing the report may go to: https://gateway.ifionline.org. Once there just click on the “Search for Reports” icon and you will be able to look at the AFR along with various other reports.

Over 65 and Disability real estate deductions have been expanded

July 3, 2025: Due to recent legislation, the qualifications for the Over 65 and Disability real estate deductions have been expanded. Single return does not exceed $60,000 -OR- Joint return does not exceed $70,000.

If you think you may be eligible, please contact the Clay County Auditor's Office at 812-448-9001.

*Current Recipients: If you are already receiving the Over 65 Deduction, no action is required at this time.
