On-Ramp Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator

A three-day intensive entrepreneurship and community engagement workshop, followed by an opportunity to apply for a $2,000 grant. This workshop teaches entrepreneurship to artists and creative professionals by focusing on a portfolio career, a community-engaged artistic practice, and key business concepts. Cohorts become incredible networks of support and collaboration.

Lifelong Arts Indiana

In order to address the creative needs of Hoosiers at all stages of life, support aging service providers, and help grow the career portfolios of Indiana artists, the Indiana Arts Commission started Lifelong Arts Indiana, an initiative geared towards developing creative programming in service to our older Hoosiers to improve health outcomes.

Creative Convergence

Creative Convergence, a partnership between the Indiana Arts Commission and the Indiana Communities Institute at Ball State University’s Miller College of Business, offers a team-based workshop and funding opportunity aimed at creative community development. Piloted in 2023 and launched in 2024, Creative Convergence is an outgrowth of a research study released by ICI in 2022.

The Creative Leap

This six-week virtual series focuses on business strategy and is designed to apply strategic principles to existing creative businesses seeking new momentum. Artists who participate will also be eligible for a small honorarium to put toward their business.

Vision & Venture

Vision & Venture is a six-week virtual training series focused on foundational business processes and compliance knowledge for creatives. Vision & Venture is designed for artists in the early stages of launching their creative business. Ideal applicants will have less than one year of business experience.
