County Courts Division

The Misdemeanor Division is for Lake County residents who have sustained a loss or injury for misdemeanor offenses in which no arrest has been made and a police report has been completed with a law enforcement agency. The defendant must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of the alleged offense.

The online form is available for use, however, if the complainant would like to meet with a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, he or she may do so by visiting our offices between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.  The complainant will need to provide a police report, a detailed statement in reference to the complaint, as well as, the identity of all witnesses.
