Beginning March 2026, application to Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) is not required prior to registering for the examination for:

• Any candidate possessing an EAC/ABET Baccalaureate engineering degree or whose Baccalaureate degree meets the Indiana Engineering Education standard as specified in 864 IAC 1.1-4.1-5
• A master's degree in engineering from an institution that offers EAC/ABET accredited undergraduate programs in the same discipline.
• An earned doctoral degree in engineering from an institution that offers EAC/ABET accredited programs.
