HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL OF OUR DATA PARTNERS AND COLLEAGUES!
I am so proud of our MPH team and everything they have accomplished this year. Even with the trying times of 2020 and our physical isolation, we all came together to show the state and nation what we (and our data!) are capable of when we work side-by-side (at a safe social distance).
Here are just a few highlights:
- We went from fully in-office to fully remote in three days with no loss of productivity.
- We supported the Governor’s Office and partner agencies to create one of the best data-driven COVID-19 responses in the country.
- We stood up the Enhanced Research Environment that went from pilot to critical infrastructure in a matter of days.
- We fueled the Fairbanks Study population determination, which gained attention nationally and globally.
- The Indiana Data Hub had more than 1.44 million views so far in 2020.
Additionally, we continued to support our other agency partners in the realms of Education & Workforce Development, Teachers’ Compensation, Next Level Recovery and the Equity Portal. Because of this commitment to our agency, the state and each other, MPH is stronger than ever. And it isn’t just me saying that. For all its faults, 2020 has been an award-winning year for MPH.>
We have won:
- NASCIO’s Emerging and Innovative Technology award for the ERE
- Gov Tech’s Digital States Survey for Data Governance and Transparency
- Results for America’s Blueprint for Delivering Results in State Government>
- Results for America’s Moneyball Governor for Governor Holcomb’s work with MPH
If this is what we can accomplish in a tough year, I can’t wait to see what we accomplish in better times moving forward. I look forward to when we can all be together again. Look for more information about a virtual Data Day 2021 coming soon.
