Exercise Information
The 2026 Marion County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) Tabletop Exercise will be hosted by Eli Lilly and features a facility-specific exercise scenario centered on Ingredion. LEPC exercises provide a valuable opportunity for public and private sector partners to strengthen coordination, communication, and decision-making during emergency incidents that may impact our community. Through discussion-based scenarios, participants review plans, identify gaps, clarify roles and responsibilities, and enhance preparedness for potential hazardous materials incidents and other emergencies requiring a coordinated response. This exercise will bring together representatives from industry, emergency management, public safety, public health, and other response partners to foster collaboration and improve regional readiness.
