Effective July 1, 2026, IC 9-30-8 states that ignition interlock device vendors may register devices for use in Indiana if they meet all federal and state requirements. Registrations are effective on the date of issuance and valid for three (3) years, unless it is surrendered, suspended, or revoked prior to expiration. Registrations will be subject to review by ISDT. All device model modifications must be communicated in advance.
