Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) Camp 2019 - Just got BIGGER

ISBVI is offering TWO FULL weeks of camping fun this summer!

Week One
Monday, July 8 - Friday, July 12
EYH:  Camp Abilities Sports Camp
Day Camp at ISBVI Campus
Ages 7 - 15
Registration Fee:  $75.00

Week Two
Sunday, July 14 - Thursday, July 18
EYH:  Wild Wild West Camp
Overnight Camp at Rawhide Ranch in Nashville, IN
Ages 9 - 15
Registration Fee:  $75.00

These camps are for students who are blind or have low vision.  Campers will be participating in daily activities aligned with the weekly theme.  Week one activities will include loads of sporting fun with 5-A-Side, track races, and goalball!  Week two is an overnight camping experience that will be loads of a ranching good time!

Space is limited, so please don't delay.  To register for one or both weeks, please complete and return the REGISTRATION FORM.  Confirmation packets will be mailed to accepted campers.

STEP - Student Training and Employment Program

For students 16 - 21 currently enrolled in an Indiana High School Program
June 17 - July 19, 2019
Location:  ISBVI

The STEP program is a unique and exciting program that gives students who are blind or visually impaired an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of finding and keeping a job.  The program is operated by the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired and Bosma Enterprises.  Students must be residents of Indiana; ages 16 - 21; exhibit independent, age-appropriate self-help, daily living, and social interactions; and commit to one complete session.  Questions may be directed to Judy Reynolds at (317) 253-1481, Ext. 307.

Summer Enrichment

Summer School provides instruction by teachers of the visually impaired to students going into grades 5 - 9 to enhance their vision specific skills.  Emphasis has been on the Expanded Core Cirriculum, math and language arts enrichment.  Questions may be directed to Jay Wilson at (317) 253-1481, Ext. 140.
