LPA Bridges

The LPA Bridge Inspection and Border Bridge Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the county bridge inspection contracts to provide assistance and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. The Border Bridge Program/Project Manager manages, oversees and coordinates all aspects of the needs of Indiana's 19 existing major river crossings with Illinois and Kentucky.   Below are a few of the responsibilities encumbered in this position:

    LPA Bridge Inspection Project Manager
    • Reviews Request for Proposals (RFP)
    • Reviews draft LPA bridge inspection consulting contracts
    • Reviews quarterly reports and hold coordination meetings
    • Reviews and approves invoice voucher claims
    Border Bridge Program Manager
    • Drafts, updates and maintains all border bridge agreements for inspection, maintenance, research or engineering services.
    • Attends/Facilitates the annual border bridge meetings.
    • Manages the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements.
    • Drafts, Executes and implements bi-state agreements.
