I-70 West Added Travel Lanes

The Indiana Department of Transportation (“INDOT”), is pleased to present this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) to prospective entities or groups of entities (the “Proposers”) interested in submitting statements of qualifications (“SOQs”) to design and build the I-70 West Added Travel Lanes Project (“Project”) through a public-private partnership agreement (“PPA”) with the Indiana Department of Transportation. The Project involves constructing additional travel lanes along I-70 from State Road (SR) 39 to Ronald Reagan Parkway in Hendricks, Morgan and Marion counties, replacement and widening of the bridge at SR 39, reconstruction and widening of 5 additional bridges within the Project limits, rehabilitation of 2 bridges, and resurfacing of existing travel lanes throughout the Project corridor.  I-70 is, and the Project shall also be, a non-tolled highway.  A general map of the Project can be found here.

INDOT is committed to improving mobility in the region and using project delivery methods that provide overall best value to the citizens of the State, including the use of best value design-build through a PPA.
