The purpose of the Infrastructure Fund is to provide financial assistance to locally identified training facilities used in the delivery of professional development, training and education. Funds made available through the Infrastructure Grant Program may only be used for support of the construction and maintenance of fire training facilities and the purchase of fire training equipment. Grants are provided to local governments through a reimbursement process after proof of expenses are submitted to IDHS.
