The Randolph County Jail was constructed in 1994. The facility has 106 beds. The Jail staff includes 20 full-time officers and maintains part-time officers to assist in staffing requirements. All full-time officers are required to complete a one-week Jail Academy accredited by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy

Inmates are allowed one onsite visit a week for free at the jail All other visits must be scheduled using the website. Visit must be scheduled 24 hours in advance but can be scheduled out 1 week. Inmates can make video phone calls when both the inmate and the approved inmate visitor are online.
