Community Service Program
Community Service is an alternative sentencing program for eligible offenders administered by the Community Corrections Department. Under this program, offenders are court-ordered to perform a set number of hours of community service for restitution for their offense(s). Community Service is a less restrictive program than Home Detention.
Under this program, Community Corrections meets periodically with offenders. The entities (non-profit or government organizations) eligible to utilize the services of people sentenced to this program submit verification to Community Corrections for hours performed.
