Overview
The Martin County Ambulance Service builds on four foundations:

2. Response time reliability to true emergency events,
3. Providing EMS service in the most economically efficient manner possible, and

Our key objective is to reliably deliver the most appropriately trained person to the patient's side in a timely manner and ensure each patient is directed to the most appropriate healthcare facility.

Martin County Ambulance Service is a 24/7 service that serves all of Martin County.  Martin County covers 237 square miles with three city/towns and several communities. Martin County Ambulance Service is an entity of Martin County Government. The County subsidizes all of the services provided by Martin County Ambulance Service and any generated revenues are returned to the County.  All processes performed by this department are under the supervision of an Ambulance Director appointed by the County Commissioners.

The Martin County Ambulance Service is housed in the Martin County Fire and Rescue EMA Building at 2660 Hwy 50, Loogootee, IN  47553.
