Family Recovery Court

The Grant County Family Dependency Treatment Court (FDTC) serves parents with substance use disorders in Child in Need of Services (CHINS) cases. FDTC’s goals are to provide parents with quick access to treatment, reduce the time children are in out-of-home placements, and reduce the reoccurrence of maltreatment due to substance use by parents and custodians. The FDTC team consists of the Judge, Court Coordinator, Department of Child Services, CASA, and Treatment Providers (Milestone, Family Service Society, Inc., and Premier Care). FDTC also has multiple community partnerships, such as Marion Housing Authority, First Christian Church, and Pregnancy Help Center to name a few. FDTC is a certified problem-solving court that utilizes incentives and sanctions to foster parent progress toward family reunification, along with evidence-based curricula and programming. Addiction does not affect the parents alone, and our goal is to help these families recover.

For questions, please contact the FDTC Coordinator, Arielle Yentes, at 765-662-9861 x 155 or via email at ayentes@grantcounty.net.
