The governor, auditor and treasurer constitute the state Board of Finance. The board supervises the fiscal affairs of the state and has advisory supervision of all funds coming into the state treasury. The board may transfer money between state funds and appropriations and approve loans made by the state. The board considers and may approve applications of financial institutions to serve as depositories of state funds.

SECTION 37. IC 4-9.1-1-1 IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2021]: Sec. 1. The budget director or the budget director's designee, the auditor of state, and the treasurer of state constitute the state board of finance, referred to as the "board" in this chapter. The board has advisory supervision of the safekeeping of all funds coming into the state treasury and all other funds belonging to the state coming into the possession of any state officer or agency.
