The Indiana Arts Commission is an agency of state government that works directly with communities, creatives, and organizations to harness the power of creativity to strengthen Indiana. Through its programs and services, the IAC funds and supports arts experiences, arts education, and the arts economy to enhance the quality of life for Indiana's people and places.

On March 23, the IAC will host a free, one-day in-person learning opportunity in partnership with the UIndy Center for Aging & Community. The Summit will bring together aging service providers, libraries, arts organizations, artists, and experts on creative aging to support the expansion of arts learning for older adults in Indiana based on the Lifelong Arts Indiana model.

The Indiana Arts Commission is now accepting applications for the Fiscal Year 2027 Spring Arts Project Support grant program. The purpose of the program is to provide broad access to arts opportunities throughout the state. Applicants may request up to $4,000 to support their project, and there is no match requirement. Applications will be accepted through March 5, 2026.

The On-Ramp Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator program includes a three-day intensive entrepreneurship and community engagement workshop and the chance to apply for up to $2,000 to put the lessons into action. The deadline to apply is February 18.

Creative Convergence, a partnership between the IAC and the Indiana Communities Institute at Ball State University’s Miller College of Business, offers a team-based workshop and funding opportunity aimed at creative community development. The deadline to apply is February 20.
