Trustee

A Township Trustee is an elected official in the local government and serves a 4-year term. A township trustee administers a township, which is a political subdivision of a county. Although duties performed by a trustee can vary between townships, the main areas of responsibility are: township assistance, fire protection, cemetery care, noxious weed control and other duties.
