There’s nothing quite like Swayzee Days—a weekend where our community comes together to celebrate everything that makes small-town life so special.
Join us August 21–22 in Downtown Swayzee for two full days of family fun, local traditions, and hometown pride. Start your Saturday morning with the 5K and pancake breakfast, spend the day exploring vendors, the farmer’s market, and kids activities, and enjoy favorite events like the pet parade, bike parade, and town parade.
With food, music, contests, and activities for all ages, Swayzee Days is a weekend full of memories waiting to be made.

Swayzee Days 5K

Start your Swayzee Days celebration with a run through the streets of the only Swayzee in the world! Beginning in West Park and ending at Fiberhawk Communications in downtown Swayzee, this community-focused event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages. Strollers and dogs are welcome too!
Registration includes:

Tractor Show
Location: West Park Baseball Field
Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Join us as we honor the town’s rich agricultural roots with a special tractor show in West Park, located in the outfield of the baseball diamond. We're looking for restored, antique, and vintage lawn and garden tractors—including any originally purchased in Swayzee. Tractors from historic local dealerships like John Deere, Allis Chalmers, International, and Oliver will be featured in a dedicated showcase.

We welcome local collectors and enthusiasts to enter their equipment in the show. No cost to participate—just bring your ride and your pride!
Pancake Breakfast
Location: Town Hall
Time: 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Nothing says small-town celebration like a hearty pancake breakfast. Join friends, neighbors, and visitors at Town Hall for a delicious breakfast before enjoying a full day of Swayzee Days activities.
Dine in or carry out. 5K participants receive complimentary pancakes with race registration.
Silent Auction

Farmer's Market

As part of the festivities, the market will be filled with fresh, local produce, handmade goods, and friendly faces. Come support local farmers and makers—and taste the difference that hometown pride makes.
The market is organized by passionate locals who believe in bringing people together and growing a stronger Swayzee, one booth at a time.

Kids Bike Parade

Decorate your bicycle, tricycle, scooter, wagon, or other non-motorized ride and join one of Swayzee Days' most beloved traditions! The Children's Bike Parade gives young participants the chance to showcase their creativity while celebrating community spirit and hometown fun.
This year's theme is:
"Red, White & Blue – Happy Birthday to U(SA)!"
In honor of America's 250th Birthday, children are encouraged to decorate their rides in patriotic colors and festive designs. Participants ages 3–12 are welcome to join the parade.
Bring your imagination, your patriotic spirit, and your best decorations as we celebrate this special milestone together!
Town Parade

A highlight of every Swayzee Days celebration, the Town Parade brings together local businesses, community organizations, churches, clubs, tractors, emergency vehicles, and creative floats for a festive march through downtown Swayzee.
Find a spot along the parade route, wave to participants, and enjoy this beloved hometown tradition as the community comes together to celebrate the people, organizations, and spirit that make Swayzee special.

Swayzee Community Church
Location: West Park

Stop by West Park in the afternoon for cold water and fresh popcorn, generously provided by the congregation of Swayzee Community Church—no strings attached!
Located at 306 South Washington Street, the church offers Sunday worship at 10 AM, along with a free community meal, food pantry, and clothes closet every Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. All are welcome!
Local Authors: Meet N' Greet

Cornhole Tournament

Grab a partner and join the friendly competition at the Swayzee Days Cornhole Tournament! Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking for a fun way to spend the afternoon, all skill levels are welcome to participate.
Gather your team, enjoy the festival atmosphere, and compete for bragging rights while connecting with friends, neighbors, and fellow visitors. Spectators are encouraged to cheer on participants and enjoy the excitement throughout the tournament.
No advance registration is required. Teams may sign up beginning one hour before the tournament at the West Park tennis courts.
Axe Throwing

Looking for a unique challenge during Swayzee Days? Step up to the target and test your aim at our Axe Throwing experience. Whether you're trying it for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, this activity offers plenty of fun for participants and spectators alike.
Friendly instructors will be available to help newcomers learn the basics while experienced throwers can compete for bragging rights with family and friends. It's a great opportunity to try something different while enjoying the festival atmosphere.

Kids Corner & Carnival

Get ready for one of Swayzee Days' tastiest competitions! Local pitmasters and backyard barbecue enthusiasts will put their skills to the test in the Swayzee Volunteer Fire Department Meat Smoke-Off and BBQ Sauce Contest.
Visitors are invited to stop by, meet the competitors, and enjoy the sights, smells, and excitement as participants compete for bragging rights and community recognition. From slow-smoked meats to signature sauce recipes, this event showcases the creativity and passion of local barbecue lovers.
Whether you're competing or simply stopping by to cheer on participants, this unique event is sure to become a Swayzee Days favorite.

Booze Bar

As the sun begins to set and the evening festivities get underway, stop by the Booze Bar to relax, reconnect with friends, and enjoy the Swayzee Days atmosphere.
Conveniently located near the evening entertainment, the Booze Bar provides a gathering place for adults to unwind, visit with neighbors, and enjoy the community celebration before and during the Blue Collar Union concert.
Guests must be 21 years of age or older and present a valid ID to purchase alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly.
Blue Collar Union

Bring your lawn chairs and settle in for an evening of live music with Blue Collar Union, a talented hometown band from nearby Fairmount, Indiana.
