About Our Town Council
Every four years, Swayzee residents elect a five-member Town Council, which holds the legislative and executive powers for the Town. All councilors are considered "at large" which means all Swayzee residents vote on all councilors, not just the councilor representing their particular district.
Responsibilities
The council elects a president and vice-president each year that helps spearhead projects and proposals. The council also appoints and oversees a town manager, whose responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the town and its employees and town departments.
Meetings
The Swayzee Town Council typically meets at 7:00pm on the third Monday of each month at our Town Hall.

Kyle is a partner with the law firm of Spitzer, Herriman, Stephenson, Holderead, Conner & Persinger, LLP. Kyle concentrates his practice in civil litigation, governmental law, corporate matters, probate and personal injury.
is an associate attorney. He has been the town attorney since 2021.
