The latest version of the Porter Code of Ordinances can be viewed by clicking the link above. The code is typically updated one or two times per year. Newly adopted ordinances will be located below on this page prior to being incorporated into the code book for your reference.

The following ordinances have been passed and adopted, but are not yet incorporated into the Porter Town Code book:
- Ordinance No. 2026-01, Amending Portions of Chapter 14, Buildings and Building Regulations, and Chapter 58, Streets, Sidewalks, and Other Public Places of the Porter Town Code (Permit Fees). Effective date: Monday, May 4, 2026.
- Ordinance No. 2026-02, Amending Portions of Chapter 26, Environment, of the Porter Town Code (Penalties/Violations). Effective Date: February 18, 2026
- Ordinance No. 2026-03, Amending Sections 1-18 and 1-19 of the Porter Town Code (Fines). Effective Date: February 18, 2026
