📣 Community Event: Orland & Wall Lake Joint Garage Sale Day
The Town of Orland is excited to announce our upcoming Community Garage Sale collaboration with our neighbors at Wall Lake!
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, we are inviting all residents to join together for a massive, area-wide day of sales. By coordinating our dates, we aim to increase foot traffic for sellers and provide a one-stop-shop experience for bargain hunters across both communities.
🗓️ Event Details
- Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026
- Time: All Day (Recommended start: 8:00 AM)
- Location: Residential properties throughout the Town of Orland and the Wall Lake area.
📝 Seller Information: No Permit Required!
We want to make participating as easy as possible. Please remember:
No permit is ever required to hold a garage sale in the Town of Orland. You do not need to register with Town Hall or pay any fees. Simply set up your items in your driveway or garage and enjoy the day!
📢 How to Participate
- Host a Sale: Gather your gently used items and prepare your display.
- Spread the Word: While the Town will promote the date on our official website and social media channels, we encourage residents to post their specific addresses and featured items on local community boards and sale apps.
- Invite Neighbors: The more houses on a single block that participate, the more shoppers you'll attract!
🗺️ Finding Sales
Shoppers are encouraged to cruise the neighborhoods of both Orland and Wall Lake. Keep an eye out for bright signs and balloons!
