The Clerk-Treasurer is elected by voters every four years and is The position is responsible for the financial matters and record keeping of the Town of Culver.
Duties include:
- Administering payroll
- Billing and accounting for utilities
- Processing expenditures
- Serving as clerk of the Town Council and maintaining records of meetings
- Preparing budget estimates of revenue and financial statements to the Town Council as well as the Redevelopment Commission
Karen Heim has served as Clerk-Treasurer since 2012. She and her husband Steve have lived in Culver for over 20 years and have two teenage daughters. She appreciates the safe environment Culver offers to families raising children as well as the beautiful backdrop Culver provides while she swims, cycles, and runs.
