Culver Police Department

About the Department

Chief Wayne Bean runs his department with an open-door policy. In Wayne’s words, “we’re here to help and we’ll listen to ideas. We may be a small department, but we’re very much in the 21st century. Our department has the latest equipment, high-tech cameras, and up-to-date officer training. We have five full-time officers and two part-time. We have many programs that benefit the community including 911, preschool safety programs, bicycle safety, child fingerprinting, Amber Alert, Operation Pullover, and Culver is a D.A.R.E. community. The generosity of our department provides food donations to families in need, a Halloween candy giveaway, and our ‘Cops and Kids’ together we can make a difference program.”

Chief Bean praises his “Fully Trained Force” and celebrated his 40th anniversary serving CPD on October 1st, 2022.
