Financial Gifts
Donate to the library to support programming, building improvements, purchasing of materials, technology updates, Children's Department upgrades, and more! Speak to a staff member at the front desk if you are interested in making a donation.
Friends of the Library
The Friends of the North Manchester Public Library is an organization created to provide assistance to the library. The Friends organization holds two annual book sales and organizes other events throughout the year as fund raisers. Visit the Friends of the Library page on the menu to learn more!
Material Donations
Donate materials to the library! These donations then go to one of three places:
- The Friends of the Library Spring or Fall Book Sales
- The free book shelf or Little Free Library
- The NMPL collection
Want to make a donation to the library?
Here's how it works!
- ALL donations should be brought to the front desk during library open hours. Please do not leave them outside the door, where they could get stolen or damaged, or in the book drops. (This fills them up too full, and there is no room for library books to be returned!)
- We accept almost all books as long as they are clean and in good condition. We do not accept textbooks, medical books, DVDs, VHS, or cassette tapes.
- Donation amounts should not exceed what would fill one cart (roughly the size of a red Radio Flyer wagon). Unfortunately, we don't have the capacity to accept more than this at one time.

Contribute to an Endowment
Endowment funds managed by the Community Foundation of Wabash County provide lasting support for the North Manchester Public Library. The interest from these funds helps cover important operating expenses such as books, audiobooks, programs, and lectures. Contributions to these endowments ensure that the library can continue to grow and serve the community for generations to come.

Kroger Community Awards
Please consider signing up for Kroger Community Rewards to help generate extra income for Friends of the Library. There is no additional cost. You simply need to register and then buy what you normally would buy from Kroger! These companies will then donate a percentage of your purchase to Friends of the Library at NO cost to you. By simply signing up for these programs, you can help FOL with every purchase!
Donate To Santa's Workshop
Santa's Workshop is an AMAZING program for multiple reasons, but the main one is that EVERY CHILD, no matter what financial insecurity they may be facing, is able to "buy" gifts for the people they love. This means so much to these kids. Without this workshop, some children would have no other way of buying presents.
Are you a creator who is running out of reasons to create? Do you make incredible knitted crafts, but have nothing to do with them? Do you paint gorgeous works of art but have no space left on your walls? If so, we just might have the perfect solution for you… donate to NMPL's Santa's Workshop event!
This is the perfect opportunity to craft your heart out AND have an outlet for all your creations. Donations should be clean, neat, and from smoke free environment and kept away from pets/pet hair in order to be allergy friendly. All donations can be brought to the front desk. This is an annual event, so we will accept donations constantly, every year, all year long!
