This dashboard is a product of the Data-Driven Addiction, Prevention, and Recovery (DDAPR) Project, a multi-agency collaboration led by the Indiana Management Performance Hub (MPH) in partnership with key state agencies. Launched in 2017, DDAPR integrates data to deepen understanding of substance use and addiction in Indiana, inform policy, and support data-driven decision-making. Each dashboard was designed to help stakeholders identify trends, monitor progress, and respond effectively to emerging needs in prevention, treatment, and recovery.
About this dashboard
This visualization provides an overview of opioid prescriptions prescribed since 2005. The data can be viewed by the number of days supply prescribed, refills written, and total prescriptions filled, all by provider specialty type. The dashboard also displays metrics on data availability and total prescription counts by year. Additional information surrounding the data can be found in the Methodology section.
