COVID Testing Information

NOTICE: THE LAST DAY OF TESTING WILL BE JUNE 30TH, 2022. AFTER THAT TIME, FREE HOME TESTS WILL BE AVAILABLE.

COVID testing is available by appointment only for those aged 2 years and up. The testing location is in the parking lot at the Health Department, 203 S Prince St, Princeton. We are located just over one block south of the post office.

The fastest way to set an appointment is by going to coronavirus.in.gov. You can call the testing phone number at 812-635-1702 Monday-Friday during testing hours, 8:30-3:30.

When you arrive for your test, DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE. Do not enter the Health Dept building. Drive up to the tent and call 812-635-1702 to let them know you are here.

The results of your PCR tests depend on which day it is done, usually 3-4 days. You will receive a text or email notifying you that your results are ready. If you take a rapid test, you will get your results within 15 minutes. Note: PCR tests performed at a lab are more accurate than rapid tests.
