Advanced System Key Portal
The Integrated Public Safety Commission has transitioned to a new, restructured System Key Program as of January, 2026. Key elements of this program include advanced security measures focusing on accountability, authentication, and authorization. These parameters will guide radio system programmers throughout the state for both activation of new hardware system keys and existing hardware system key annual renewals. It is our intention to deliver a program focusing on security, integrity and efficacy.
Please note:
- All system key requests must initiate via this portal effective February 1st, 2026.
- A signed MOU is required to hold a system key.
- System keys are valid for one year and must be renewed prior to expiration.
- Any additional systems appended to the key must be added by the associated agency.
- Please allow 1-2 business days for request processing.
Please DO NOT submit a separate request for each device. One request can cover one or multiple keys within respective selections.

The IPSC Radio Shop provides the following services at no cost to radio system user agencies.
- Tuning and Alignment (up to 6 radios per agency)
- Battery Reconditioning
- Battery Recycling and Disposal
- Code Plug Review
- Radio Blanking (Programming Removal)
