Indiana Department of Health (ISDH) – The Indiana State Department of Health supports Indiana's economic prosperity and quality of life by promoting, protecting and providing for the health of Hoosiers in their communities.

Indiana Department of Insurance (IDOI) – The Department monitors insurance companies and agents for compliance with state laws to protect consumers and to offer them the best array of insurance products available.  The Department regulates approximately 1,780 insurance companies operating in Indiana and licenses over 100,000 producers (agents and brokers).  The IDOI assists Hoosiers with insurance questions and provides guidance in understanding how insurance policies work.

LTC Ombudsman – A Long Term Care Ombudsman serves as an advocate who seeks to resolve complaints made by or on behalf of people who are consumers of Long Term Care services.

SHIP – State Health Insurance Assistance Program – A statewide free consumer counseling program provided by the Department of Insurance that provides information and counseling by trained local volunteers.  Offices are located throughout the state and through a toll-free phone line (800-452-4800).  Trained personnel can help seniors with questions on Medicare, Medigap, long term care insurance, other health insurance questions, and the Indiana Long Term Care Insurance Program.
