Commissioner Rockensuess Authorizes Immediate Use of ELTF Proposed Drilling Rates
During the January ELTF Financial Assurance Board (FAB) meeting, Colleen Rennaker, Deputy Assistant Commissioner in the Office of Land Quality, presented an outline of cost guidelines [PDF] that will soon be out for public comment in a nonrule policy document (NPD). Pursuant to 328 Ind. Admin. Code 1-3-5(b)(8), the proposed drilling rates outlined in the NPD have been found to be necessary and approved by the Administrator for immediate use effective January 29, 2024 for costs incurred from that date forward.
These drilling rates may be used until updated Cost Guidelines become effective.
