The Compliance and Enforcement Branch within IDEM’s Office of Air Quality oversees and enforces compliance with regulations including:
- State air pollution control rules contained in Title 326 of the Indiana Administrative Code (326 IAC)
- Where rules are particularly technical or complex, nonrule policy documents may be provided by OAQ Compliance and Enforcement Branch to clarify how certain air rules will be enforced
- State air pollution control laws (statutes) contained in Title 13 of the Indiana Code (IC 13)
- Federal regulations:
- Air pollution control regulations contained in Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (40 CFR)
- The federal Clean Air Act
The Air Compliance and Enforcement Branch also provides input concerning proposed rules and nonrule policy documents.
