Individuals who have made a significant impact on the Latino community in Indiana will be honored during the Indiana Latino Expo Awards Dinner. You can submit nominations from October 9 through November 12, 2023. Applications will be reviewed and winners will be contacted at the end of November.
Nominations are due November 12, 2023 at 11:59 P.M. (EDT). Nominations are submitted entirely online. Selection is based how the candidate meets all of the established qualifications for the award. Anyone with a Latino or Hispanic Heritage may be nominated for a qualifying award.
Indiana Latino Civil Rights Leader Award
The Indiana Latino Civil Rights Award recognizes a Latino individual who has shown outstanding leadership in efforts to remove barriers for all Hoosiers, so that they may freely enjoy goods, services, housing, and employment unencumbered by discrimination. The award winner will have made an exceptional contribution to their community by demonstrating a commitment to equity and equal opportunity.
