TPC Statewide partnerships use evidence-based tobacco prevention and cessation efforts for youth and adults. They include efforts to mobilize strong partner coalitions that reflect TPC targeted populations and support the TPC Mission and Program Objectives.

HEP facilitates and supports TPC with the Breathe: Healthy Steps to Living Tobacco-Free educational program by working with Head Start Centers and other similar organizations in Indiana. Breathe includes education on the dangers of secondhand and thirdhand smoke, ways to minimize exposure, the financial burden of tobacco, and resources available to quit smoking. HEP will provide training and technical assistance to local TPC funded partners on Breathe; provide training and technical assistance for Head Start (or similar) agencies covering counties NOT funded with a local community-based or minority-based grant; assist in the development and continual improvement of Breathe tools, and serve as a liaison between TPC and Head Start and other state-level organization serving low-income families.

Indiana Black Expo (IBE) is committed to protecting communities from the harms of secondhand smoke and reducing the impact of commercial tobacco. Through its annual events and year-round programming, IBE promotes Quit Now Indiana cessation resources to help individuals quit tobacco and access free, evidence-based support. All IBE events are proudly tobacco-free, creating healthier spaces for families, youth, and communities most impacted by commercial tobacco use.

ILI focuses on the four priority areas in tobacco control in the Latino/Hispanic community: Prevent initiation of tobacco use by Indiana youth; assist tobacco users in cessation; protect Hoosiers from secondhand smoke, and maintain tobacco control infrastructure. ILI has the capacity for outreach to specific Indiana counties that have a large Latino/Hispanic population.
