ELECTRONIC PLAN SUBMISSION PROCESS
Congratulations, you have received your assigned project number and are now ready to begin the electronic plan submission process.
Step 1
Download and Save the ISDH_View_Templates.rvt file.
Step 2
Using the template file, create files (using the proper naming convention) to be delivered to the IDOH over the secure FTP site. Download and Save the Revit Template Instructions.
Step 3
Complete all required project documents in the specified format. Required Documents, by project type, are located at:
- Acute Care Facility
- Long Term Care Facility
- Child Care Facility (excluding child day care centers)
- Mental Health Institution
Step 4
Upload the templates and required document files to the IDOH via the FTP website. Download the FileZilla Health Care Engineering FTP Manual.
NOTE: The recommended FTP client is FileZilla. However, each firm may use any client of their choice, as long as, the client can successfully upload the file set to the IDOH. The FileZilla client may be downloaded at: http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client
