Upcoming mandatory training: Information Technology Resources User Policy

The state of Indiana is refreshing its workforce on the acceptable use of technology. The Information Technology Resources User Policy, formerly known as Information Resources Use Agreement, is an important policy that, when adhered to by state employees and contractors, safeguards confidential citizen data.

The content of the Information Technology Resources User Policy is so critical that a training module has been developed on each component of the agreement. In the coming weeks the training will be available in SuccessFactors and state employees will be automatically enrolled. Contractors will be emailed on how to access the training. Only after taking the training and thoroughly understanding the material will state employees and contractors “accept” the agreement.

ITR User Policy will go into effect as a yearly training module required for all employees and contractors January 2024. To learn more about the Information Technology Resources User Policy, please click here.
